The Genjutsu model, explained without the hype

Genjutsu is a reference-driven video-to-video model. It does not invent a shot - it rebuilds one you already have.

Frequently asked questions

What model does higgsfieldgenjutsu.lol use?

It runs the Genjutsu video model: a reference-driven video-to-video model for motion transfer and element swapping. This site is an independent third-party generator and is not affiliated with Higgsfield.

Is Genjutsu a text-to-video model?

No. Genjutsu needs a source clip. The clip provides the motion, the camera and the timing, while your references and prompt decide who and what appears in the result.

What are the Genjutsu model limits?

Reference videos must be between 3 and 30 seconds, you can attach up to 40 reference images per project, and prompts work best when they ask for a single change at a time.

Can the model handle more than one character?

Yes. Recasting two performers means attaching a separate reference set for each and naming both in the prompt. Results are most reliable when the two are visually distinct.

Why does the same prompt give different results?

Generation is not perfectly deterministic. The same clip, references and prompt can produce different takes, which is why a proven reference set matters more than a perfect prompt.

Can Genjutsu recast a video I did not shoot?

Technically the model will process any clip you upload. What you are allowed to do with it is a rights question: you need permission for the footage and for the likenesses in it.
