FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How long does the Genjutsu workflow take?

Prep is the slow part: 5 to 10 minutes for the clip and the references. A render is a single generation, and most people get a usable take within one or two attempts.

How many reference images should I use?

Three to six per element is the sweet spot. One is usually too little to hold a face, and the generator accepts up to 40 reference images per project when a complex scene needs them.

Can I recast several shots from the same scene?

Yes. Lock the references and the prompt wording, then run each source shot separately. Reusing one proven reference set is what keeps a sequence consistent.

Do I need editing software as well?

Genjutsu returns a finished clip. An editor helps when you want to cut several recasts into one sequence or add your own audio.

What should I do if the first render is wrong?

Change exactly one thing: the prompt, one reference image, or the mode. If you change all three at once you cannot tell which change fixed it.
